Q. Tell me something about yourself?
Q. Which one of you should I choose?
Q. Between work and family, there is little time or energy left for you. Without you, though, life feels mundane. What can be done about it?
Q. Can you make me better at my job?
A. I am generally an activity that you undertake because of the joy I bring you. I am not an inborn inclination. I am developed through a constant and systematic process. Of course many people have discovered the joy that also comes with me that earns you a living. Whether I am full time, part time or not at all, you must decide which one suits you the most. Just make sure you make the correct choice that fits your lifestyle, personal preference and time frame.
Q. Which one of you should I choose?
A. Choosing me should be more than a decision. It’s something you put your whole self into.
Ask yourself these questions while choosing me:
- What you could do all day if you had the chance?
- Why do you love spending time on me?
- Is it worth spending your time on me?
- Would you enjoy me?
Q. Between work and family, there is little time or energy left for you. Without you, though, life feels mundane. What can be done about it?
A. Squeeze me in, even it’s for just a few minutes at a time, because those moments can change your mood and your mind-set.
When people do things that make them feel good, it activates an area of the brain called the nucleus accumbens that controls how you feel about life. Activities you enjoy also stimulate the brain’s septal zone — its “feel good” area — and that makes you feel happy.
Q. Are you good enough for me?
A. Yes, and in many ways. I can enhance your creativity, help you think more clearly and sharpen your focus.
- as a remedy for fatigue
- as a chance to connect with yourself
- as an alternative career option
- as a life-long pleasure
- as an independent and intrinsic source of pleasure
- as a means to discover and re-discover your talents
- as a chance to meet people of similar taste
- as a change to share
A. Yes, if you enjoy me, because doing something you enjoy can help you think more creatively and give you confidence.
I may inspire ideas that will help you at work — leading, for example, to a new approach to making presentations, solving problems or meeting a client’s needs.

Q. How can I decide if I should opt for you as my profession?
A. The tipping point is reached when you are far more interested in me than your job and when work feels like a waste of time. But take a long look before you leap.
You have to do some market research first and make sure you could earn a living indulging in me. You also take the risk that making me your career will take all the fun out of it.
Q. What do people, who pursue you, say about you?
